Vassiliko Cement Works, the major cement producer in Cyprus decided to expand its Logistics Vision Suite platform and implement Inventory Vision for the demand forecast and replenishment of its spare parts and tools.

Vassiliko Cement Work has been using successfully Mantis’ Logistics Vision Suite - Warehouse Vision for the management and optimization of their spare parts warehouses in their production facilities. During 2006 the management of the company realized the need for forecasting and replenishment of the spare parts and tools so as to reduce inventory costs and optimize use of around 39,000 articles.

Vassiliko after an extensive search decided to acquire Logistics Vision - Inventory Vision for this purpose. Mantis Cyprus, a daughter company of Mantis, was engaged through all stages of this process and has performed for Vassiliko an Inventory Analysis proving the potential of the solution. Currently the project is under way and is expected to be operational by this summer.
