Mantis, the leading supplier of extended Supply Chain Execution (SCE) software and solutions in South Eastern Europe, and its partner Novensys, the leading supplier of logistics and auto-id solutions in Romania, announced today that Delamode, the fastest growing logistics services provider (LSP) in Romania, after an extensive market search has selected Mantis’ Logistics Vision Suite to automate and optimize its operations.

Delamode, headquartered in Bucharest, is one of the leading LSPs in the Romanian market, with more than 5 distribution centres covering over 40,000 square meters. Delamode is working with many depositors like Metro, Debenhams, Dixons, Fujitsu, InBev, Honeywell, etc.

Late 2006, in order to support its growth, Delamode decided to proceed with the installation of a warehouse and transportation management system. After an extensive market search Delamode decided to proceed with Mantis’ Logistics Vision Suite. The project kicked-off in late March 07 and is currently on-going. The scope of the project is to implement Warehouse Vision with Billing and Trade Partner Management for all distribution centres operated by Delamode, followed by Transportation Vision to manage and optimize its distribution operations.

In a recent presentation of ARILOG, the Romanian Assosiation of Logistics, Mirela Scarlatescu, Logistics Operations Development Director of Delamode attributed the choice of Mantis to "the complete functionality of the solution, the flexibility it offers, the ease and quick implementation and the presence of a local support team with Novensys. An important role in the final decisions was Mantis’ know-how and vast experience in the field of LSPs."
