Mantis, the leading supplier of extended Supply Chain Execution (SCE) software and solutions in South Eastern Europe, has sponsored and participated in the 5th International Conference of Logistics "Efficiency and Effectiveness in Logistics and Supply Chain Management" held on November 1st & 2nd in Bucharest, Romania.

The conference, that was organized by Arilog, is the major logistics conference in Romania and gathers all the experts in the field of SCM. This year for the first time, the conference was two-days long and was attended by more than 150 experts in the field of Logistics.

Mantis participated with a booth where its range of logistics information systems and solutions were discussed with a focus on new technologies like Voice Logistics. Mr. Yiannis Panagiotopoulos, Mantis’s CEO, presented the "New trends in European logistics solutions markets". Furthermore Mr. Daskopoulos, Mantis’ regional business development manager, moderated the panel discussion of the session on 3rd Party Logistics.

The conference provided the forum for very fruitful exchange of ideas between the participants on the current state and the future of SCM in Romania.
