Orinos, after years of representing Sadolin paints in Cyprus, established a subsidiary company, Sadolin Paints (Cyprus) Ltd., for the purpose of setting up a local manufacturing plant in Nicosia (starting 1973).

Today, all types of high quality paints are produced in Cyprus under licence from Akzo Nobel, and demonstrate the highest technological advancement with the latest research and development achievements.

Orinos group has recently decided to team up with Mantis Cyprus for the implementation of Logistics Vision Suite III (LV), which will manage all the warehousing and distribution operations of Orinos’ DCs in Nicosia and Limassol for both it’s retail (15 owned shops) and wholesale clients all over Cyprus. Items to be managed through LV are: Raw material items, purchased items, semi-finished and finished products (paints). Attributes such as colours, receiving date, expiry date, production date, lot number are going to be controlled by the system. Finally paints’ mixing process will be handled by LV’s Warehouse Production module.
