In 2007, the majority of new logistics software projects in Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey, were once again awarded to Mantis, thus further establishing its leading position in these countries. "Improve competitiveness through supply chain optimization" was Mantis’ message to all companies in the region, through its active participation in a number of local logistics conferences and exhibitions.
Mantis was also very successful in the dynamically expanding markets of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakstan. In 2007, ANT, Mantis’ partner in Russia/CIS, acquired the largest market share of all new logistics software projects. This spectacular achievement in addition to its stellar performance during the last couple of years is gradually establishing the company as the undisputed leader in the region. The 1st Russian SCM FORUM, organized by ANT & Mantis in Moscow last November, was a great success that further contributed in increasing awareness of the importance of modern logistics solutions in the region.
Finally, Mantis actively introduced its logistics solutions in Serbia and Poland. A new sales office was established in Poland reflecting the great potential of the Polish market for the coming years.
In the technology front, Mantis continued to invest in the enhancement of its leading Logistics Vision Suite (LVS) and to extend its range with new products and features. Among the firm’s most important announcements was the launching of a cutting edge Voice Logistics solution based on Vocollect’s, world-wide leading platform.
Based on this year’s dynamic performance, Mantis’ financial results for FY 2007 are expected to significantly improve.
