Mantis, a leading supplier of extended Supply Chain Execution (SCE) software and solutions in Eastern Europe, and its partner ANT Technologies, the leading supplier of logistics and auto-id solutions in Russia, announced today that Smart Logistics Group, after a detailed market search has selected Mantis’ Logistics Vision Suite (LV) to automate and optimize its operations.

SLG belongs to the "Uniform International Chain of Customs Warehouses – UNCCW", established to implement the "great silk road" project, whose objective is to cover the whole Russian Federation with high quality logistics services.

Mantis’ LV will first cover the needs of the SLG’s new DC (740.000 ft2) at the logistics park of the Domodedovo airport, Moscow. In the next 5 years, SLG plans to establish additional DCs with a total capacity of about 1 million pallet locations in 4.500.000 ft2 (from conventional storage at +18-20 oC to deep freezing at -26-32 oC) covering the whole Russian Federation. The choice of LV was made by the management of SLG based on the results of a competitive bidding with the participation of a number of leading local and international vendors of WMS solutions.
