Mantis, a leading supplier of extended Supply Chain Execution (SCE) software and solutions in Central Eastern Europe, and its partner ANT Technologies, a leading supplier of logistics and auto-id solutions in Russia, announced today that Mantis’ Logistics Vision Suite (LVS) is being implemented by ANT at Topservice’s two-story 55,000 sqf distribution center in Moscow.

Topservice is a dynamic Russian producer and distributor of energy saving electrical consumables and equipment such as valves, lamps, batteries, flashlights and electrical appliances. The company is specializing in marketing, manufacturing and wholesale distribution of the "Cosmos" branded products which are manufactured at 6 factories in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, China, Korea and Japan and are delivered by large trading networks.

Mantis’ LVS, a software suite that has already been successfully used to manage the logistics operations of several leading Russian wholesale companies, will support all warehousing operations of Topservice such as receiving, put-away, picking and shipment.

Topservice, after an extensive market search (where all major WMS providers in Russia have participated), chose ANT Technologies and its specialized solution based on LVS. ANT’s solution has been designed not only to meet typical WMS needs but also Topservice’s special warehousing requirements such as picking of heavy (eg. batteries) and fragile (eg. valves) goods. Warehouse Vision (LVS’ main WMS system) will be deployed across 30 workstations and will be integrated with Microsoft’s high-end ERP (MS Dynamics Axapta). The proposed solution also includes Motorola RF network and terminals along with barcode label printers from Zebra Technologies.
