Mantis, a leading supplier of extended Supply Chain Execution (SCE) software and solutions in Central Eastern Europe and Russia/CIS, and its partner Logistics Associates-LA, the leading supplier of logistics information systems in Turkey, announced today that Tirsan Lojistik, a major provider of warehousing and transportation services in Turkey, has selected Mantis’ Warehouse Vision to automate and optimize the operations of all of its distribution centers in the country.

Tirsan Lojistik, headquartered in Istanbul, is a major Logistics Services Provider (LSP) in Turkey operating several distribution centers in the country. Its customers are famous local and international companies like Tesa, Canon etc.

At the first stage of this project, LA will implement Warehouse Vision at the central distribution center of Tirsan Lojistik in Istanbul. The project is currently in the analysis phase and is expected to be completed this summer (2008). The deployment of the system to the rest of distribution centers will follow at a later stage.

Warehouse Vision, the WMS arm of Mantis’ state-of-the-art Logistic Vision Suite, was selected by Tirsan Lojistik mainly due to its rich functionality that includes best practices from a plethora of large LSPs in CEE countries having business mentality and needs similar to the Turkish LSP market. Other key decision factors were system’s outstanding adaptability that allows easy and fast implementation as well as the very competitive 5-year TCO. The selection of Logistics Associates was due its extended experience in implementing logistics information systems especially in the LSP market as well as its ability to provide Tirsan with high quality local support in Turkey.
